Who we are

VolunTier is a UK platform for recognising and verifying volunteering. Company details will be added here.

What we collect

This website has two forms.

Founding Charity sign-up. When a charity signs up as a Founding Charity we collect the charity’s name, its registered charity number if you give it, your name, your role, your work email address, roughly how many volunteers the charity has, and any message you choose to send.

Waitlist. When you join the waitlist we collect your name, email address, whether you are joining as a volunteer, charity, business or partner, your organisation if you give it, and any message you choose to send.

With each form we also record the date and time it was sent and the page it was sent from. We do not store IP addresses.

How we use it

Founding Charity sign-ups are used to contact you about becoming a Founding Charity, to talk to you about how VolunTier could work for your charity and your volunteers, and to keep you updated as we get closer to launch.

Waitlist details are used to contact you about VolunTier, its launch and the waitlist, and to reply to your message.

We use this information because you have asked us to contact you. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for marketing.

Where it is stored and for how long

Form submissions are stored securely by our website hosting provider, in a private store that only the VolunTier team can access. We keep them until VolunTier launches and for as long as we are in touch with you about it, and we delete them sooner if you ask. This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, or analytics.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Email us at hello@voluntier.co.uk.
